Yes, all set to kick-off another season of excitement, engagement, madness, passion, joy, frustration, anxiety, cheering, shouting and cursing. Yes, its World Cup time that brings out the ultimate expert and analyst out of each one of us. Who played right, who messed up, who is inform, who is going to turn the game around, whats the pitch like, what would be a good score, should they chase – all that and more – we all love to have and share our views about every aspect of it.
Nothing wrong in it but how about hearing the views right from the experts of the game – people who played at it at the top level, who knows what it feels like to be in a dressing room, what it feels like to mark your guard in front of stadium full of penetrating eyes, how it feels to mess up on the boundary in front of crazy fans, how much preparation time you have to pad up and pray not to be required to bat, what goes on between the drinks and what messages are sent. Anyone can guess that but only experts can tell you exactly that.
We are delighted to share the news of arranging special conversations and chats throughout the World Cup with one of highly respected Cricketers to have represented Pakistan at International level, Asif Mujtaba. He definitely needs no introduction, most commonly known for his famous 6 off the last ball at Hobart to tie the game against Australia. He has been kind enough to spare some time for us to discuss Cricket, especially Pakistan’s journey, through out the tournament. We are honored to have him available and will make sure we make the best use out of it. Have a question to ask? Sure, you can let us know and we will make sure to get it answered in the next session with Asif Mujtaba.
Soon, we will be kicking off with a general round up about this World Cup. You can keep up with all the sessions in our Talks and Opinions section.
Stay tuned and be part of the experience.
